“I once cried because I had no shoes to play football with my friends, but one day I saw a man who had no feet, and I realized how rich I am.”
Shortly after forming our NPO, we quickly learned that the one of the most important contributions a coach/mentor can make in the development of a child’s life is inspiration. Thomas Edison said, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” We believe that this one percent is very crucial because it motivates the hard work necessary for success. As a coach, it is our job to inspire the kids to work hard and help them find their talent. To us TMK is a family. Just like a parent who is proud of their child’s achievements, we are proud to be part of the growth of our students as soccer players and as people. Seeing their growth is also our drive to continue to do what we do. We want to change the world through small acts of kindness. Coaches are the key figures in helping our youth develop through soccer. Our devoted coaches play a special role in the development of every child we work with.
The coaches create kinship by being role models and inspiring students on the field. Over time, we develop a trust that lasts forever.
